Damu Says: "What I remember about this beat is that is was maybe end of summer 2005 and for short period of time I had my production setup in the middle of the basement (prior to being in the corner). I was really serious about digging and would make beats immediately after I found new records. That has changed over time. When I found the record that year, I knew it was dope, but the beats didn't jump out right away, but I loved the whole record. One day I sat to make a beat, played the record and heard the sample that inspired the composition. It was a jazz standard that intrigued me in this version. The beat came together pretty quickly and I probably moved on to the next when it was done. The title is a nod to the Dave Brubeck Quartet."
